How to get here

We are delighted to be getting married at St. Nicolas Parish Church, our local church in Guildford, where we have been regular members of the congregation for the past few years.

Following the ceremony, we will celebrate with a wedding breakfast followed by an evening reception at Gorse Hill Hotel.

St. Nicolas Church is located at the bottom of Guildford High Street, in the heart of the town centre. It’s approximately a 5–10 minute walk from Guildford train station, making it easily accessible by public transport.

Gorse Hill Hotel is appoximately a 20 minute drive from Guildford town center.

Please note that there is no on-site parking available at the church. However, there are several nearby public car parks:

• Portsmouth Road Car Park – directly adjacent to the church. Small and tends to fill quickly.

• Farnham Road Car Park – a large multi-storey car park, about a 5-minute walk from the church.

• Castle Car Park – approximately a 10-minute walk away.

• Millbrook Car Park – also around a 10-minute walk from the church.

We recommend allowing a few extra minutes to park and walk, especially on weekends when the town centre can be busy.

There is plenty of parking available at Gorse Hill.

Parking Information

Hotels

If you do decide to stay we reccommend booking a room at Gorse Hill. If you quote "tottle-chapman" when making your booking you will be eligible for a discount on Saturday 15th.

Children & +1's

You are very welcome to bring your partner but please let us know on the RSVP to assist in our planning.

Children are also very welcome and again please let us know numbers wise.

Catering

If you are joining us for the wedding breakfast then this will be a three course set meal at the reception venue. This will be served at around 5pm. We will also have a light evening buffet at around 9pm.

The venue can cater for any dietry requirements but please let us know via the RSVP.

There will also be a Children's option available (please let us know numbers)

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal to formal.
